REAL PHOTOGRAPHY MATTERS.

A photograph is a promise that someone was there. Not an approximation, not a plausible arrangement of pixels — a person who travelled, who waited in the cold for light that might not come, who stood close enough to be part of the risk. Everything in the frame happened. The dust was real, the fear was real, the moment lasted a fraction of a second and will not return.
